Wedding

You’re Invited

On the occasion of my 60th Birthday, I am giving myself the gift of a Wedding and you are enthusiastically invited! Like women who have chosen to have children without having a husband, I am choosing to have a wedding without a groom.

No groom, no marriage, just a wedding, a party with cake, toasts, rituals and dancing, a celebration of my friends and family celebrating me.

RSVP required below

A wedding is a ceremony that is welcoming, inclusive, and personal. The wedding is led by a celebrant and focuses on your life and love story and the things that are important to you.”

It would be so wonderful if you could volunteer to help set up and/or break down. Other volunteer possibilities include picking up cake, steaming the dress, getting the bouquet, etc.

Pugs Needed

The bride-to-be is crazy about pugs and currently unpugged. The wedding coincides with her 60th Birthday, so she would like a procession of 60 pugs to take her from the Washington Square Arch to the entrance of Judson Church on the south side of the park, where the wedding will be.

Pugs and their people are invited to wear bride and groom attire or anything festive OR whatever they want. This will be a little like a flash mob, pugs show up, bride loves them up in her pug adoring way and then en masse we cross the park to the song “who let the pugs out.” At Judson Church we will do PUG LIFT and Reverend Billy will bless the pugs and the bride.

Every pug will receive a wedding favor, to thank them for their participation!
